Steven Irizarry, Co-Founder and Managing Partner

Steve Irizarry is a Co-Founder of the firm and the Managing Partner for Healthcare. Steve worked as a senior legislative advisor for almost a decade on Capitol Hill, having served as counsel to the Chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, Chairman of the Senate Health, Education, Labor & Pensions (HELP) Committee, Chairman of the Senate Special Committee on Aging, and then-Senator Chuck Hagel (R-NE).

A recognized expert on healthcare issues, Steve has a proven track record both on and off Capitol Hill for his ability to affect a public policy debate and shepherd legislation through Congress. The Hill called Steve “a GOP health-care wiz” and named him a Top Lobbyist in 2017 and 2018. Bloomberg Government also named Steve one of the “Top Performing Lobbyists of 2018.”

In describing Steve’s expertise and influence in helping shape federal healthcare policy, The Regulation, Policy & Market Access (RPM) Report stated that his “departure, in fact, from the Senate staff is the type of individual personnel change in Washington that can slow an important policy debate. His departure from the Hill took one of the few top staffers who deeply understood the issues out of the direct process of developing legislation.” As a partner with Roberti Global, Steve now puts that healthcare acumen to work for his clients, helping them navigate successfully through the ever-changing legislative, regulatory, and political environment.

Prior to joining Roberti Global, Steve was a Senior Vice President with the Capitol Hill Consulting Group and ML Strategies. Throughout his career, Steve has delivered winning outcomes for a diverse group of health care clients, including Fortune 500 pharmaceutical and biotech companies, device manufacturers, university healthcare systems, providers, and trade associations.

Since 2015, Steve has served on the Board of the Children's Charities Foundation of Washington, DC, which has raised and distributed over $10 million in grants for programs that support disadvantaged and at-risk children in the DC metropolitan area. In 2018, the Foundation awarded Steve their Star for Children Award for his work on behalf of the organization and the children they serve.

Steve and his wife, Lisa, reside in Northern Virginia with their two children. He has a bachelor’s from Georgetown University and a law degree from Arizona State University.
